Building on foundational knowledge, this session delivered by Dr. Amanda Bolderston from Queering Cancer focuses on the experiences of 2SLGBTQI+ people within cancer care. Through patient stories and clinical scenarios, healthcare professionals will explore common challenges across the cancer continuum, learn respectful and inclusive communication approaches, and identify individual and program-level strategies for creating welcoming care environments. This session also signposts to further education and resources, supporting healthcare professionals to deepen their learning beyond this training.
